Hosted by the Helmut Schmidt University Hamburg, this year’s annual workshop of the ISP will focus on pulsed power generators and related technologies. This workshop is intended to provide the possibility of networking within the pulsed power community and to support the scientific/technical exchange between scientists, representatives of industry and students. The frame of the workshop provides an opportunity for closer social and technical interactions than a large conference. The workshop will be accompanied by a visit of the Free-electron laser DESY Flash and the annual member meeting of the ISP.

Speakers

Oral presentations of 10 to 20 minutes + Questions are foreseen during 3 sessions. The presenters will be asked to share the slides with the workshop attendees. Day one will take place at the Helmut-Schmidt University/University of the Bundeswehr, Holstenhofweg 85, 22043 Hamburg, Germany. Directions see here.

Hotels

Accommodation is basically the responsibility of the participants. A contingent of rooms at the «IntercityHotel Hamburg Hauptbahnhof» and the «Hotel ibis Hamburg Alster Centrum» were reserved for workshop participants. The Hotels are close to the main train station od Hamburg and, thus, the location of the social event ( Restaurant Körri Speisekontor). This reservation will remain until the mentioned dates, after which the rooms will be released. Prompt booking is recommended as rooms are limited. Please refer to «ISP» when booking. An additional culture and tourism tax of 4 € per night will be charged by the Hotels.
